Inexpensive Silicon PV cell.

Would you like to be part of and invest in a breakthrough Solar PV technology? This is your chance! We are looking for Silicon experts and financing. You are viewing a 'ProtoType' Multi-Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell. We have made 100s like this. The Silicon (the thin shiny layer in the photos) in this particular cell is about 0.007" thick, and the efficiency is ≈9.7%, as tested by MIT, Battelle Labs, and Arthur D Little Labs. This is very good considering the crude solder strip front contact and no AR coating! The secret is there is no Silicon Carbide at the Silicon-Carbon interface. This is the first time molten Silicon has been placed on Carbon without SiC formation. The technology is quite simple in concept. Protected by multiple provisonal patent applications. In production, the thickness will be 0.002" and the efficiency will be 15-18%. We use electrically conductive carbon for the 'backside' conductor. The projected selling price for a 1 watt cell in a module is less than $1 including close to 50% profit. Our projected cost of a 'ready to install' array is about $0.65. Our current factory (founded in 1970) manufactures Ruby, Sapphire, Garnet, NdYAG, Cubic Zirconia in furnaces of our own design and construction.
